The Alameda County Fair is taking place now and runs through July 5th. It is easy to find the fairgrounds located off Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton, CA. The fair is very well done and offers a fantastic family experience. Amazing food, carnival rides, and tons of entertainment are offered for people of all ages. Small kids can have a great time, or big kids like me can have a blast too. Go check out the All Alaskan Pig Races, get yourself a giant chicken kabob, and then go for a ride on the Zipper for a great day. The opportunities for fun are endless, and this is easy to see in this series of photos. I really enjoyed my day of photography at the Alameda County Fair, and I might go back next Tuesday. It was fun.
This group of images was captured with both my NEX-5R, and my A58, and I utilized my Lensbaby Fisheye lens, 18-55 mm, and 55-200 mm lenses also. I carried both cameras with lenses, and later added my tripod for some of the later shots in the evening. It did feel good to put it all down at the end of the day, but I used all of it to capture all the different images that are displayed here below. I would be happy to answer any questions regarding this set of images or any other photography related matters. Please just send me a message through email or on my Facebook page.
